Name: Columns
Version: 1.7
System Requirements: Windows 95/98, VB5 Runtime DLL
Optional: Sound card
Description:
Columns was my first program in Visual Basic. It was my “Hello World” if you will. It is a clone of the popular tetris like game of the same name. The object is to get three or more blocks of the same colour in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
It supports two different modes of play: Normal and “Do Dad’s” Mode. Normal is as you would expect normal play and Do Dad’s mode introduces a couple of new blocks. Also supports changing the difficulty level by changing the number of different types of blocks being used. Block colour is also selectable for colour blind people.
It Supports playing back of in game midi music and shows a wide variety of statistics about how much. Keys are also re-definable.
